Since I started using SDT many, many years ago, I have NEVER again had any database/table synchronization, index or memo problems. SDT does this checking/modifying painlessly and quickly against meta data every time the application starts. It is an extra utility, yes, but it works seamlessly with VFP.

>>I just had a DBC corruption yesterday just by adding a new relation (could not open it anymore, had to resort to an out-of-date backup) and you say that the whole weakness things about DBC/DBF is just a theory? You're just plain lucky if you never had a VFP table/database corruption.

>>>On the other side I disagree about DBC/DBF weakness theory. When properly set/programmed you will not hv ANY problems. Fact that meny people did not bother to take advantage of buffering/transactios and this way increased data reliability is another story.
