I'm using visual foxpro 5.0. There is a need in the company to run a foxpro exe automatically that mainly appends data from a text file into a dbf and index the table. The problem is that is has to be done from a unix server, which is of course not possible or is it? I was thinking about using fp 2.6 for unix doing this part of the job. Can this be done (append and index), if so are they compatible with fopxro 5?

Any experiences with this are welcome.
