>Just back up again after moving onto a new laptop with Vista Home Premium and Office 2007. After mastering User Access Controls and flicking a switching in Installshield Express 12 to defeat UAC etc, here are some weird things:

What switch in Installsheld 12 did you flick? We have a problem with Vista and IS12 also.

Thanks

As per usual (Office 95 -> 97 -> 2000 -> XP -> 2003), the VBA object model has subtle differences, few of which (actually none) are documented. I got everything working after 24 hours, but have put a hold on automation with Excel 2007 in favour of Excel XP on the grounds of speed and the last few object model differences I would have to fix.
