What is return value from FtpPutFile? Did you provide full file name (incliding path) for the local file?

>I have wrote a FTP class (based on others work before me) that uploads a zip file to a web site. When I run the executable from the command window it preforms correctly. But when I run the same executable from the file explorer, it acts as if it uploaded correct, but no file is transfered. The API (FtpPutFile) fails immediately, but reports no error. Can anyone explain what may be doing wrong?
