OK, Thanks to you and Ed I now have this working on both the form and the report. Turns out I was close before but since I wasn't sure if I was on the right road, I didn't know if I should keep up the struggle.

Now the next question, suppose the report has multiple photos (4) in a row positioned near the center of the band (a group header). Their PRINT WHEN is set to not print if there is no picture and remove if blank is .t.
We want the controls below the pictures to float up (I know you can only float down) if there is no picture so the space reserved for the picture is not used if there is no picture.

Any ideas?

I can do this with the pictures in the group footer but not the group header.
