Hi Kevin.
I run everything on a Dell Inspiron 5150 , 3 MHz Notebook with currently 512 and about to upgrade to 2 GB. I also have an external USB 120 Gig drive
(Not sure of its speed..dont use Dot Net on it, but for everything else it rips along)

I've probably mentioned this before, but up to now all apps (other than Vis Studio) have been extremely responsive.

I jusy could not tolerate the sluggishness of DOT Net if it remains at the current speed ....I will first try the 2 Gigs..if that does'nt work I may be forced into getting a new PC....
