Doesn't he owe some of his success to Tony Blair? If I don't have that wrong he certainly came across as ungrateful in his remarks yesterday -- this is a new government, a new philosophy, etc. It came across as a direct slap in the face of the preceding government. Most newcomers in office try to distance themselves at least somewhat from their predecessors, but Brown left skid marks.
