Hi Mike,
Particular UI functions like data entry can be hard to customize in a web form. Maybe you should think about using a windows form with web services to your database.

It was as a rsult of your suggestion that I considered using web services....I took it up incorrectly that a Web Service could be used to access a Windows Form???

The only reason I was going for something like this was because I need a way, web based, of being able to go up and down a column and amend the bcells, like in Excel... I have'nt seen anything thats web based that can do this.
