A web service is for connecting to database and business objects remotely. It has nothing to do with UI.

What is your reason for using webform in the first place? If it is to connect to remote data, I would look into using web services to do that and create a windows form.

I am very surprised at this , as in nearly evry VFP app that I have developed I would have had such a Grid. If this is the case, it will not instill much confidence in moving over to Dot Net , particulalry for Web Forms.
