>Hmmm, again you wear rose-colored glasses when discussing European problems. I lived in Germany, married a German, speak German, have kids who speak German, and guess what? The Turks in Germany right now are thought of and treated in a smiliar manner as the blacks in America during the days of open bigotry and prejudice. Open your eyes and get the facts before you being to spout your non-sense. I've read similar reports from France and I would bet my bottom dollar that the Netherlands is the same.

First off all, when did you live in germany and where? Turks in berlin in the cold war were indeed living a hard time and they still might currently. It is related to the economy.

However I strongly disagree with the parrallel with blacks in the US past. This is not rooted in discrimination, but in education and integration. You'd better come with some factual knowledge before acusing me from spouting nonsense up here. There are many turks living here in holland and though they are generally not seen as an ethnical group integrating very well into dutch society, they do far better than others.

You'd better know what you're talking about, before reacting. This is way beyond what you understand of ethnical integration in europe. Your anadotical experience somewhere in the past does not tell me anything.
