>>You'd better know what you're talking about, before reacting. This is way beyond what you understand of ethnical integration in europe. Your anadotical experience somewhere in the past does not tell me anything.

>My experiences are not anecdotal. I've seen the problems and I have family in Germany to this very day. They talk about the Turks like Americans would talk about rapists.

So how is this not anecdotical ??

>They are not accepted into German society, the Germans would love to get rid of them.

I don't remember having seen any official survey saying this.

>Their unemployment rates lead to higher crime statistics and more trouble for the Germans. Unemployment rates among the Turks and Turkish youth approach 50%. When a subjugated, fringe population has no hope, they will rebel and that is a boiling pot waiting to happen.

Your link says approx 25% unemployment, not 50%. But it is true that integration into the western society is a problem. Simular to hispanics in the south of the US ?

>I like how you couch the same feelings in your statement: " though they are generally not seen as an ethnical group integrating very well into dutch society,". Seems to me that the Dutch have the same feelings as the Germans.

You'd better keep a few things seperated.

1. Integration
2. Education
3. Discrimination

Throwing them all on one heap is not very constructive. Integration of turkish people could have been better, but we identified that it is partly the fault of the dutch government in the past when we invited the turkish people to work up here (A story on its own).

Because the intent of getting back to turkey they did not learn the language (very well). The official language at home often is turkish. This is an obstacle in education and therefore in getting a well paid job, partly resulting is high crime rates. We, however, have far larger problems with marrocans than with turkish people.

However, this was not part of the discussion. Your implication that this compares to how the US handled blacks is TOTALLY OFF. There is, and never was, that level of discrimination up here. No seperate schools, busses, seats for immigrants vs natives. In stead we had something we called 'positive discrimination'. This consisted out of programs where minorities had benefits over natives (free access to swimming pools or certain communities in the hope it would benefit integration).

>And how do you justify the Turkish riots in France? The condemnation of the Turks in the European countries is going to become a huge problem. It is already approaching that in Germany and France.

Not according to this: http://www.commongroundnews.org/article.php?mode=8&id=2482&sid=1

You once again show not to have much knowledge about this problem. The riots in france were mainly held by NORTH AFRICAN, NOT TURKS. The origin of this problem is of a very different nature. France has a much lower turk population compared to germany. http://www.flwi.ugent.be/cie/umanco/umanco3.htm.
