>I installed VS 2005 Professional (Trial edition, full package) on my PC (Vista) and VS refuse to load correctly. I get a bunch of "Package Load Failure" at startup ("Package 'Visual Studio Common IDE Package' has failed to load properly..." for exemple). I did run Windows Update a couple of times to get all the latest patches.

Well, did you hear about some people having problems with the applications they developed running on Vista? Microsoft is among the crowd, as you couldn't have possibly believed... 8-)
