Of course there is a distinction between them. There is also a distinction between robbing a bank, stealing a car, selling drugs, etc. and entering a country illegally for a better life for you and your family. If the number of immigration visas available to Mexicans was not so artificially low there wouldn't be a problem in the first place. It's not like they WANT to be illegal. These people are not criminals in the normal sense of the word. But some seek to criminalize them.

Change of subject. (And not a moment too soon, right? <g>). The girls and I got a yellow lab on Sunday. He's two months old today. Full of charm and mischief.
