I realize it's not easy to become a legal resident, and that is incredibly unfortunate.
However, if these folks don't WANT to be illegal, then DON'T be illegal. Take the legal route, as unfair and crappy as it might be.
Lucky. I really REALLY want a lab. It's too bad we live in a small town and there isn't a job market in that town... We are both forced to drive 25-30 miles to work everyday (2 vehicles). The gas bill is starting to kick us, so we might make some changes where one of us works closer to home. If that happens, I can guarantee the first thing that will change is us getting a lab.
Actually, we are picking up a Lhasa Apso puppy tonight. We really did our research and these breeds are very independent and many sources said this is the breed for working families. We have 2 weeks of vacation coming up to spend with her, so hopefully we can get her potty-trained and used to her crate by then.
>Of course there is a distinction between them. There is also a distinction between robbing a bank, stealing a car, selling drugs, etc. and entering a country illegally for a better life for you and your family. If the number of immigration visas available to Mexicans was not so artificially low there wouldn't be a problem in the first place. It's not like they WANT to be illegal. These people are not criminals in the normal sense of the word. But some seek to criminalize them.

>Change of subject. (And not a moment too soon, right? <g>). The girls and I got a yellow lab on Sunday. He's two months old today. Full of charm and mischief.

>>>When did it become politically correct to support illegal activities anyway? I have never been against immigration, just ILLEGAL immigration. Gee, don't get me started again... :o)
