A friend at Bata Shoe Organization, called Juan Carlos Gutiérrez, had a friend at the police do a background check on his name, and found SCORES of crimes commited by different people with the same name. (Both the name "Juan Carlos" - the combination is treated as a single name - and the last name Gutiérrez are relatively common, though.)
