No, I don't have any computers without .NET 2.0. In the installer project I created .NET 2.0 is a requirement and will be installed prior to my app beeing installed. I have installed my app on other computers without .NET 2.0, and the installer prompted me to install .NET 2.0. Also I can't remember exactly but I think if you try to run a .NET 2.0 app on a PC without .NET 2.0 it will give a meaningful error message instead of the generic OS message.

The dialog has the standard two links (what and why), and if I click on the what like there is some information (mostly just a dump file), but the information is very generic.
Semper ubi sub ubi.
