What I do take from your statement is that you may have heard a comment or two like that by someone looking to fill a position where VFP is not required, and you have made a broad assumption based on that.

I have had plenty of interviews in the past year, and the trend has gone like this.

I see you have VB.NET experience, let's talk about that.

I see you have SQL Server experience, let's talk about that.

Hmmm... VFP. I see you have Crystal Report experience, let's talk about that.
