Have you got the same trend in the US where most cars are just metallic grey? That seems to be the default colour here. Practically invisible on a grey road at dusk, without their lights on. Now even our cop cars are met. grey with the gaudy decals stuck on. Skodas look weird in owt but this colour (the vast majority of them)

I can imagine Henry Ford nowadays saying "... so long as it's metallic grey."
