I don't think I am, we just have different points of view.

You just stated that you would have no problem with anyone you know using fireworks in your neighborhood, am I wrong.

The proper protest would be to try to change the laws if you don't agree with them, or move to one of the more liberal states that allow this activity.

Like I said, I really don't care if you want play with fireworks as long as you're sober and acting responsibility, but if there are laws regulating fireworks in the majority of states, enough people must have supported that point of view to bother making a law.

I agree with you and John that you can't prevent people from doing stupid things, but you can try to regulate dangereous products to minimize the impact on society.
