Incidentally, talking of the bus services here cf the USA, coming home from work the other evening I saw a loine woman, in a wheel-chair, waiting at a bus stop. It reminded me that our local buses "kneel down", like an elephant, so the gangway is level with the kerb, to board old, infirm or wheel-chair-bound passengers. She'd just roll on and the front of the bus features a large area with flip-up seats.

Saw that in Orlando as well - except the driver has to get up, fold a couple of seats, and help tie the chair wheels to hooks which were below the seats.

What's the frequency of buses in your area? Apart from NYC, I still haven't seen a schedule which would keep them going more often than one per hour - maybe two at rush hour. When I was at the college, the buses in Novi Sad would go every 12-15 minutes, getting into 3 minutes apart in rush hour. And the city had only about 250,000 people at the time.
