Please recall that the third step in the VFP 9.0 installation process is a link labeled:
"Service Releases - Check for the latest Service Releases to ensure optimal functionality of Visual FoxPro. This link will take you to the Visual FoxPro Products Update web page."
When I click on this link, I am taken to the URL:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/404/default.aspxHowever, what appears is a page from MSDN which states:
"Location Cannot Be Found"
The screen gives a list of MSDN Developer Centers, but not the one for VFP. After clicking on the link:
"More Developer Centers"
one can find a link to the VFP site under the header "Other Resources".
Is this just another way that Microsoft is trying to kill VFP? I would sure like to know who decided to break that link. If there is anyone out there who has some influence at Microsoft, I would hope they could influence Microsoft to restore the link.
