With regards to the cCheckBoxL, cComboBoxL, cEditBoxL, cOptionGroupL, cSpinnerL, cTextBoxL, etc. container classes, what is the main purpose for these classes? We are trying to decide whether or not to use these classes or just use each control and label independently.

For example, the cTextBoxL class has custom properties and methods to force unique values in the text box and to require that data be entered into it, but why is the label there? Couldn't you get the same functionality just by subclassing the cTextBox class and omitting the label?

Is it just for design purposes? Dropping one object on a form versus two?

Thanks.
