Jan,
I use most of these controls since I usually have a label tied to the control. Not only is it easier to drop the control on the form, it is also then easier to maintain. I typically will create a form and then start adding controls. I then wind up going through several changes to the form, moving the controls around before I come up with the final version.
With the container controls, I drop them on the form and set their properties. Then I deal with the label and the control as one object. Otherwise I would have to move both the label and the control each time. Give them a try and I think you will appreciate the benefits.
Kind Regards,
Mat
