Larry: I don't know if this is the exact same thing, but I had two text boxes that were coming up as readonly when I ran the form, but were coded as readonly = .f.. I discovered that the control source of the text boxes did not exist. I didn't get any errors, only readonly text boxes. When I pointed the text boxes to correct fields in the control source property, they worked properly.
