My point was that in the grand scheme of this whole thing, a Lt. Col is fairly low ranking. Does a
Lt. Colonel have the authority to transfer weapons to the government of another country?? I think
not. And to think that he did is foolish and is real ignorance.

I'm not calling you a fool, I'm stating that this kind of reasoning is foolish.

>My, how many low ranking Marine Lieutenant Colonels do you know? :o) I know quite a few that could mastermind such a thing. You may call me a fool, but I think you are ignorant in this Kevin. I also specifically wrote that I thought Reagan was fully aware of what was occurring then, except that by the time the trial ocurred, that may no longer have been the case.

>>Are you forgetting Oliver North and the Tower Commission? Personally, I always felt that Reagan was fully aware of the situation and a 'blind eye was turned to it.' However, given that his altzeimers was probably already showing effects (and staffers were hiding it) he probably really didn't recall with any accuracy when he testified.

>>Nonsense. Reagan was in full mind during those years. Anyone who believes that a low-ranking Marine
