The grizzled veterans out there probably already know about this, but in case anyone hasn't...
While perusing the Developer's Guide, I discovered that VFP ships with a PRG called SCCTEXT which is intended to be used for generating text representations of application components (reports, forms, etc.) for use by version control systems (which can only deal with text files). I've found that it's useful to generate text files from forms and reports -- it's a good way to review all embedded code without clicking and scrolling all over the place, and also for comparing two different versions of the same report, form, whatever. It's simple to use; for example, DO SCCTEXT WITH "MYREPORT.FRX" will generate a text file called MYREPORT.FRA. Though it's not code that you can compile and execute, it can come in handy.
