I caught some of NFL Live on Espn last nite. Along with Grossman the talking heads were discussing how long before Benson is benched. Sean Salisbury was blunt in his assessment that Jones was traded to the Jets because of politics (Benson was a 1st round pick), and that the Jones trade had more to do with the Bears plight this season then anything.

>The big news around here is the Bears have finally benched Rex Grossman. Brian Griese practically defines the word "journeyman" but he probably won't take them out of games the way Grossman has. Rex's confidence is shot and that's a bad place to be for an NFL quarterback.
