Dorris, thanks for your comments. There are no other programmers here; this is part of my frustration; none of these people can do any programming; they are like slugs. But they demand like hungry baby chicks. We don't even have a user group in orange County, CA, at least it doesn't appear so, so there really is no one nearby to look at anything, which is why I am on this forum. It is a lonely world out here, believe me.
>Yes...and it's a long, hard road to educate them.
>As for the form freezing, is there someone who can either 1) look at the form for you (fresh pair of eyes) or, 2) knows absolutely nothing about what your doing so you can explain your code to them?
>I've found that the first generally works very quickly ("Yeah, your problem is right there (pointing)" within about 30 seconds), while the second take a little bit more time, but you'll find the problem when you quit 'seeing' the code as you thought you wrote it and actually see what you wrote.
>>After a few clicks on my grid and some fields, my entire form freezes up. I think I need to take a nap. I've had it for today.

>>The President of our company says that I must have this entire system done by tonight, as if he knows anything about programming. Anyone else deal with unrealistic managers who know nothing about the steps involved in developing and implementing systems? I swear, this makes me just want to quit.
