I have an app which was originally done in vfp8. I've recompiled it in vfp9, but now every time I try to load one particular screen - either in design mode, or when running, vfp goes into install mode trying to load something or other. If I click 'cancel', it does this three times in a row, but after clicking 'cancel' each time, it runs fine. If I don't click 'cancel' it tells me the feature is available on the cd and to insert the cd. If I click 'browse', it seems to be looking for 'vs.msi' - visual sourcesafe? I don't use visual sourcesafe. I'm the only developer, and this stuff is running and compiling on my own pc, not on the network.

The only thing different about that particular form is that it contains the Microsoft Common Dialog Control Version 6.0. I deleted it and re-added it on a lark, but it made no difference.

This is new. It was running without a problem before recompiling to version 9. And to the best of my knowledge, I installed everything there was to install when I installed vfp9.

Anybody know what's going on here?
