Sorry, you're right - vs_setup.msi. Ok, hopefully it will leave me alone forever, but the fact that it does this when the program is actually running, and not just in design mode bothers me. I'll give it the CD and see what happens. Unfortunately, the disk is not here, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Thanks Sergey.

>Are you sure it's not looking for 'vs_setup.msi' ? If it does, give Windows Installer VFP9 CD and it should live you alone.

I've recompiled it in vfp9, but now every time I try to load one particular screen - either in design mode, or when running, vfp goes into install mode trying to load something or other. If I click 'cancel', it does this three times in a row, but after clicking 'cancel' each time, it runs fine. If I don't click 'cancel' it tells me the feature is available on the cd and to insert the cd. If I click 'browse', it seems to be looking for 'vs.msi' - visual sourcesafe? I don't use visual sourcesafe. I'm the only developer, and this stuff is running and compiling on my own pc, not on the network.
