I remember back at the pre-natal classes, one couple were complaining bitterly about being messed about and not getting to know a particular midwife because their health authority kept changing her, or they got sick, or summat. They went on and on. I said "it sounds like you're having a midwife crisis." That certainly broke the ice among us couples.
