Matt,

>Kevin - I have installed MM 2.4 eval, and built a business object project on one of my tables in SQL Sever Express. It tests out on the test bench just fine.

Check out the MM .NET Dev Guide topic "Third Party Components | Developer's Express Windows Controls". This topic talks about installing the MM .NET DevExpress Windows Controls. You can download these from the same page you downloaded the eval version of MM .NET.

It sounds like you have an older version of DevExpress than what we used to create our subclasses of DevExpress. Since these folks release new versions several times a year it's hard for anyone to keep up with them! Based on this, we have instructions in the DevGuide for getting our controls to work with whatever version of DevExpress you happen to have. You can find these instructions under the topic "Recompiling Third Party Product Assemblies".
