I gave up coffee a couple of years ago, and I had no problem either. Same with cigarettes. I gave them up almost 20 years ago. I was a chain smoker - just a tad over 2 packs a day. One day, I guess my system decided it had had enough, and I simply stopped without making a conscious decision to do so, and never really thought about it again.
