Then is'n it the view of that fired emplyee only?
Did you try to gather information from other two parties?
Again, it is hard to imagine that the scenario like you described may even happen. I still doubt that it is so simple as you described. Probably neither of us (who fortunately is not involved in the case) have enough information to judge.
