Thanks for the tip on using the registery key. I have several projects going on at once and some use different class libs. Unfortunately, when I develop the data model I don't map the individual table fields because I'm not sure at the time what the class lib is going to contain. It is such a pain to go back and map each individual field later, and setting the default field mapping in the options means you have to redo it every time you change projects. The trick withthe registery key is ideal. Thanks again. Marty Hutto
