We should be people that the community looks up to, and not only as it pertains to technical issues, but in our behavior and attitudes as well. We're all human, and we all make mistakes, but I wouldn't call vindictiveness a "mistake", it's a character flaw.

Bonnie,

I think that being an old MVP may be driving some people to put themselves as untouchable.

The truth is that Andy's and Marcia's legacy is HUGE. Including me, they have lots of fans and admirors. I love their books. Their solutions are really great. Both are very active in Foxite, and since a year I've noticed that they have been answering to people in a very rude way.

Technically speaking, nobody can tell them that they did not like their proposed solution. Nobody can tell them that their code contains bugs. If you say that it could be done in another better way, normally the answer is that they sent the code just for better undestanding. All we can say is Thank You, or send them compliments.

Regards,

Cesar
