>>>I think there is some damage done to the MVP program regardless of the scarce bad apples (why you guys say only one? wasn't JVP an MVP too? {/ducks} <g>) for now I am sure there will be people who would think twice before answering too many questions in forums for fear of getting accused, thus the MVP program might lose some quality prospects.

>>IMHO, the fact that MVPs are involved makes this thing all the more reprehensible. We (MVPs), as a group, are too much in the public eye to behave irresponsibly. We should be people that the community looks up to, and not only as it pertains to technical issues, but in our behavior and attitudes as well. We're all human, and we all make mistakes, but I wouldn't call vindictiveness a "mistake", it's a character flaw.

If you say that it could be done in another better way, normally the answer is that they sent the code just for better undestanding. All we can say is Thank You, or send them compliments.

Cesar from Zurubadjian, Zimbabwe, it may be that you're unconsciously setting up here a straw man argument (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man), but I recall a thread that may explain how how you come to this argument. Do you have a reference to the thread I recall?
