Okay, now I see what you're seeing. I certainly was not suggesting that I was going to, as you put it, "out" that person. I was suggesting that that person should consider that my discretion in the other matter was just as warranted as in that person's matter. I have no intention of either identifying the other person or discussing what the matter is.

As for criticizing parochial attitudes, yeah, I did, and I probably should have kept my mouth shut on that, too. But a number of people here wonder why some folks don't like to come to the UT. For me, that's one reason why I enjoy the UT less than some other places. So after many years of saying nothing about it, when an appropriate opportunity presented itself, I spoke up.
