It is always embarrassing to hear about such things in America, however, what about the expectations of some other countries that "require" women to wear a head scarf even if that is not of their religion. What is the general response from citizens over there?

And what a ridiculous excuse - "It (the hijab) could be used to strangle somebody." I thought that was what referees were for - to make sure the rules are followed.
