Its well worth going to a big dealer where you can see a lot of screens side by side playing the same thing. The difference is huge.

>Keep in mind that most contrast ratios reported by the manufacturers are inflated. It is difficult to tell which is better without viewing them side-by-side and then by watching specific scenes to note the difference. Also 1080i is actualy 1920x1080 if this is accurate:
