When I bought my TV the sales person told me that here in Canada they are going to wait until they unleash this capability for business reasons only, technologically everything is ready; but I really do not understand how does it work, my TV has a QAM tuner, and I still did not buy the high def service, for we were mostly interested in the movies, so, should I wait? Would I be able to watch HD with my current cable box?

Nevermind, I just read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QAM_tuner, and as far as I know, my cable company has all channels scrambled, so I would not be able to take any advantage of the QAM tuner.
