In more than a few States, the majority is expected to be Hispanic within a few years. In the whole US, the Hispanic population is expected to form the largest demographic group within our lifetimes. There is no doubt that the majority of workers and thus taxpayers will fall into that group by then. I wonder what these people will think of the rest of the population, which by then will be largely elderly. Perhaps they'll assert that all these retirees should have provided for themselves better rather than expecting the taxpayer and other healthcare insurance-holders to prop them up. Perhaps such decisions are being formed in the young minds of the kids we're talking about today.
