But that actually makes him more efficient. I've watched only one of his sessions about QA and other SQL tricks, and yes, he wasn't serious at all - except that the code he showed was simple, just worked... well, not immediately, he successfully demoed the usual errors (most of which I also made in the following months) - but then he demoed the ways to fix them on the spot. It was fun, and it worked.
Um... does this mean that stuff that isn't fun and doesn't really work is the stuff that needs religious approach? ;)
