I haven't been to a conference in a few years now, but I used to love going to Duffy's sessions. He certainly makes learning fun! =0)

I've watched only one of his sessions about QA and other SQL tricks, and yes, he wasn't serious at all - except that the code he showed was simple, just worked... well, not immediately, he successfully demoed the usual errors (most of which I also made in the following months) - but then he demoed the ways to fix them on the spot. It was fun, and it worked.
