I was bored and watching some of that "Talk Soup" or whatever it's called now on E. They showed a clip of CSI with Caruso on it. Whatever Caruso said was of little consequence, but it was outdoors and he didn't have his shades on. But when the camera came back to the E announcer, he had this pained look on his face. Mimmicking Caruso the best he could he said "I said I can't act correctly without my shades on".

>If you've never seen it, look for it on DVDs or re-runs. TNT is rerunning The Closer ( another fine show, but more formulaic ) so they will probably do the same with Grace. Holly Hunter is stunning. Lara SanGiacammo has a scene out in a field in the second last episode that just burns into your brain.

>It was pretty true when he said it. I'm very pleased it is becoming less rare that something is really well-done.

>( oh, and watching Holly Hunter reminds me why I find the mannered, one-note performances of David Caruso and Keifer Sutherland unwatchable )
