Thanks a lot Dale. I guess you are right about selling myself short. I'm kind of perfectionist, so I guess I see my weak points bigger than they really are :( But after trying to position myself in other tools than VFP without much success, I'm a little bit discouraged.

Getting a math/algebra book is a really good idea. I allways loved maths (except at the university), but I forgot almost everything but the simple algebra (don't know anymore how to work with matrix, derivative, etc.) A refresher will be welcome :)

You're not the first to suggest www.learnvisualstudio.net, so I guess that it is good. I will definitly go take a look.

Thanks again :)

>First, I think you're selling yourself short. Anyone that's been programming for 17 years has to have some analytical abilities/skills. If you want to improve your existing skills, I suggest you go to a local library or college bookstore and invest in a beginning/intermediate math/algebra (whatever you're comfortable with) book and work your way through all the word problems. This, I believe, will help you with your analytical skills.

>As far as your learning other programming languages, I recommend www.learnvisualstudio.net. Their lifetime membership fee was pretty reasonable when I signed up a year or so ago ($19.95), probably more now. They have some real good videos on all the .NET languages. You can also download all the express versions from microsoft (.NET, VB.net, C#.net, etc.)at http://www.microsoft.com/express/vwd/Default.aspx
