SQL Management Studio is the GUI IDE for SQL server. It exists for full blown version and also as a download for express version (also download sample databases). Initially it looks very different from SQL2000's enterprise maager console but once you get a hang it is a wonderfull IDE I think. You can directly execute queries, create things, script things and a lot of other stuff. Trust me, something that you wouldn't want to be without:)
