Derek,

Kevin Goff had an article (probably in CoDe Magazine) and probably some posts here about getting data from SQL such that you are able to basically "page" the data ... which it sounds like what you want to do. I can't find it at the moment (having a hard time figuring out a few good Google key words to find it). I'm pretty sure that the technique he used only worked with SQL 2005, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

I'm sorry, but I just don't remember the specifics of it, and since I haven't had to use it (yet) I had no need to remember it. I knew I could always ask Kevin! <g>

Hopefully he'll pop in here and answer this for us.

>Good advice; I will follow it. The problem is many of our clients have dual monitors and like to load up grids and grids of data windows to compare to one another. It's not just one window that's the problem, it is several decent size datasets all loaded up at once (perhaps I should have worded my question that way).

>Trust me, we have no need for doing anything on large datasets, I suspect my clients enjoy being able to rapidly flip through it fast to answer whatever business decision is on hand at the moment. I guess they will have to do with querying over and over.

>Thanks.
