Sure, "my" users do that too. But how do you expect your users to add a new line in a multi-line editbox?
The solutions given by Tore and Dragan may be appropriate if you need a potentially long text, but will never separate it into several lines. Actually, there is a simpler way! Just give your EditBox a height of a single line.
Otherwise, if you need multi-line text, it is a "solution" with big quotation marks, and I would suggest you teach your users to use Tab, at least in those specific cases where ENTER is used for something else.
