Hi Hilmar
>The solutions given by Tore and Dragan may be appropriate if you need a potentially long text, but will never separate it into several lines. Actually, there is a simpler way! Just give your EditBox a height of a single line.
Yes, I have the editbox as a single line eight but the Enter was being stored and the value flagged as modified. and that was the problem where the values though not changed by the user (from a non-tech perspective at least) flagged the data as edited.
>Otherwise, if you need multi-line text, it is a "solution" with big quotation marks, and I would suggest you teach your users to use Tab, at least in those specific cases where ENTER is used for something else.
This too I have tried to handle where editboxes are multi-line and enters are allowed, in that case I have updated the statusbar/tooltiptext stating that tab need to be used.
